INTRODUCTION TO MEDICAL QIGONG
This is a beginning course for all those interested in learning about Qi ( energy).In this course the Breath Healing Exercises will be taught. This group of exercises are for cleansing your system of stagnant energy and excess emotions, making room for cultivation, strengthening and balancing your energy. This is done by simultaneously focusing on the breath, posture and intention. When these exercises are done regularly, an increased state of well being is experienced on a physical, emotional and mental level. These slow movement exercises are sometimes called meditation in motion. Sound therapy as part of this class, is used to "break-up" and release congested emotions helping you to connect with your spirit. This first course can be taken simply for health and prevention of disease and is good for all ages, people who want to increase their overall energy or are recovering. This course is offered on tues. evenings from 7pm-8:30 and is $25. It starts on Jan. 16 until the third week in April. Call sara to register 206-363-0909
